The Green University Computer Club (GUCC), in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), successfully organized a Farewell Ceremony to honor our respected Deputy Moderator, Ms. Feroza Naznin, Lecturer, Department of CSE, in recognition of her outstanding contributions, unwavering dedication, and valuable mentorship to both the club and the Department of CSE. The program was attended by the respected Chairperson, club moderators, faculty members, executive members of GUCC and CSS, and students of the CSE Department.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the event anchors, followed by the welcome speech of  Md. Monirul Islam, Assistant Professor & Moderator, GUCC who appreciated Ms. Feroza Naznin's commitment, responsibility and positive attitude throughout her journey to both the Department of CSE and the Green University Computer Club. The memory-sharing session continued with speeches from Tanveer Ahmed Ziad, President of GUCC,  and Tasmia Noor Tama, Vice President-Activity. Md. Solaiman Mia, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, reflected on Ms. Feroza Naznin's outstanding leadership, mentorship, calm decision-making, and continuous support in various departmental and club activities.

During the program, the audience also celebrated Ms. Feroza Naznin's prestigious achievement of receiving  the MEXT Scholarship 2026 from the Government of Japan to pursue her PhD at Mie University, Japan. The Green University Computer Club congratulated her on this remarkable accomplishment and wished her continued success in her  academic journey.  As a token of appreciation, the respected Chairperson, Moderator, Deputy Moderators and senior faculty  members presented Ms. Feroza Naznin with a crest, followed by a customized photo frame to commemorate her memorable journey with GUCC.  

In her farewell speech, Ms. Feroza Naznin shared her experiences of serving Green University of Bangladesh since 2020 and mentoring GUCC members from 2025. She expressed sincere gratitude to her colleagues  and students for their support and encouragement. She also motivated students to pursue higher education  abroad and kindly offered to guide those interested in applying for the MEXT Scholarship. The program concluded with the valuable remarks of Syed Ahsanul Kabir, Chairperson, Dept. of CSE  who congratulated Ms. Feroza Naznin on her outstanding achievement and appreciated her professionalism,  dedication and positive impact on both the department and GUCC. He wished her continued success and expressed  hope that she would return to Green University of Bangladesh after completing her higher studies. The farewell ceremony ended with a group photo session making the  occasion memorable for everyone present.  

The entire Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department and Green University Computer Club (GUCC) extended their heartfelt gratitude  and best wishes to Ms. Feroza Naznin for her future academic journey and professional success.
