Team GREENFORCES from Green University of Bangladesh has achieved an outstanding performance at the IUT Inter-University Programming Contest 2026, held on 25 July 2026 at the Islamic University of Technology. The team secured 12th position among all participating university teams across Bangladesh and claimed 1st position among all private university teams by successfully solving seven challenging problems.

The winning team comprised three talented students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE):

• Md. Ruhan Azad

• Mahfuz Bin Minhaz

• Md. Hosain Rohman Noyon

The team was guided and coached by Md. Ataullha, Lecturer in the Department of CSE, whose mentorship played a crucial role in their success.

This achievement is part of a remarkable series of successes for Green University of Bangladesh in national competitive programming arenas. In addition to their stellar performance at IUT IUPC 2026, GUB teams have demonstrated consistent excellence at other prestigious contests:

• DUET IUPC 2026: Secured 12th position with 7 solved problems

• SUST IUPC 2026: Secured 15th position with 6 solved problems
