The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Green University of Bangladesh, in association with Alumni Affairs Board, Dept. of CSE, and Green University Computer Club (GUCC), successfully organized a Seminar titled “The Future of AI and Large Language Models: Research, Innovation, and Career Opportunities” on 16 August 2026. The seminar focused on the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), highlighting recent developments, research opportunities, innovation, and potential career pathways for students interested in this field.

The event was smoothly anchored by Mst. Jannatul Bushra Ananna, a proud member of Green University Computer Club(GUCC). The main seminar session was conducted by Md. Roman Sarkar, PhD Fellow (Research Assistant) at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China. Through his academic and research experience, he provided valuable insights into the current landscape and future possibilities of AI and LLM technologies, covering important aspects of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models, including emerging research trends, innovation, and career opportunities.
We sincerely thank our Session Chair, Humayun Kabir Rana, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE, and Guest of Honour, Syed Ahsanul Kabir, Chairperson, Dept. of CSE, for their inspiring speeches and continued support. Their presence and valuable remarks added significance to the seminar and encouraged students to explore research and innovation in emerging technologies.
The seminar provided students with a broader understanding of the rapidly developing AI ecosystem and the growing role of Large Language Models. It also encouraged participants to think beyond academic coursework and explore research, innovation, higher education, and career opportunities in AI. The session served as an inspiring platform for students to gain knowledge from real-world research experience and understand the possibilities that lie ahead in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
The Seminar on "The Future of AI and Large Language Models” was successfully concluded with active participation from students, faculty members, and GUCC executive members. The seminar successfully connected academic learning with current research and industry-oriented opportunities, making it a valuable and insightful initiative for the CSE community. A crest and certificate presentation was also conducted to recognize and appreciate the speaker’s contribution. The event concluded with a photo session involving the participants and executive members.
