The Accreditation Committee of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) successfully organized a comprehensive, full-day faculty workshop titled “Hackathon on Modernizing Laboratory Manuals for Practical Learning.” The event took place today in rooms A-501 and A-502 as part of the department’s continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives and strategic preparations for the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) accreditation.
The workshop served as a collaborative platform, bringing together faculty members from the Department of CSE and the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE). The primary objective of the session was to enhance the overall quality, structure, standardization, and practical effectiveness of laboratory manuals, thereby fostering enriched student learning outcomes and robust hands-on educational experiences.
Keynote Address: The workshop featured an insightful keynote session delivered by Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Professor, Department of CSE, and Dean, FSE, GUB. His address focused on the core tenets of BAC accreditation, Outcome-Based Education (OBE) frameworks, and strategic methodologies for modernizing practical learning resources.
Event Leadership: The session was officially chaired by Prof. Mr. Syed Ahsanul Kabir, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of CSE, GUB, who guided the day's collaborative tracks.
