The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its inaugural futsal tournament, "CSE Presents Futsal Tournament – Season 1," held on 30 June and 01 July 2026 at the university premises.

The tournament served as a vibrant platform to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie among the students of the CSE department. A total of ten teams, representing batches 223 through 260, participated in the spirited competition, which featured a dynamic mix of knockout and round-robin matches over the two-day event.

The proceedings commenced with an official opening ceremony, highlighted by the ceremonial unveiling of the tournament trophy. The esteemed guests for the occasion included Syed Ahsanul Kabir, Chairperson of the Department of CSE; Dr. Mohammad Shariful Alam, Director of Student Affairs; and Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, Proctor of Green University of Bangladesh.

The tournament culminated in a thrilling Grand Final on the evening of July 1st. In a closely contested match, Green Falcons (Batch 252) emerged as the champions, securing a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Raptop-260 (Batch 260) .

The closing ceremony was further enlivened by a friendly CSE Faculty Match and an inspirational Women's Match, adding to the celebratory atmosphere and reinforcing the department’s commitment to inclusivity and holistic development.
