The Department of Textile Engineering successfully completed an educational exhibition visit to the 25th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026 held at ICCB, Dhaka on 28 January 2026.A total of 135 participants took part in the visit. The journey started at 10:30 AM from Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), and we returned to the campus at approximately 2:30 PM. The university authority kindly arranged three buses for transportation. Additionally, snacks were provided from the departmental fund during the visit.

Participants explored three exhibition halls (Hall 1, Hall 2, and Hall 3), where a wide range of fibers, yarns, fabrics, and textile accessories were showcased. The visit offered valuable exposure to current industrial trends, innovative materials, and modern textile technologies, greatly enhancing the practical understanding of our students. Overall, the visit was highly educational and productive. Students gained firsthand industry experience, interacted with exhibitors, and enriched their knowledge beyond classroom learning. It was truly a fruitful day for everyone involved.
