The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), is delighted to share the remarkable success of IEEE Day 2025 — a vibrant celebration of creativity, knowledge, and collaboration.

The event was organized by the IEEE Student Branch GUB, in association with the IEEE Computer Society SBC GUB and IEEE PES GUB SBC. This year’s IEEE Day brought together students, volunteers, and faculty members through a series of inspiring and engaging activities that embodied the true spirit of IEEE.

IEEE Day Rally

To mark the occasion, a colorful IEEE Day Rally was held on October 11, 2025, at 9:30 AM across the GUB campus. Students and faculty members joined together to celebrate the unity, innovation, and enthusiasm that define IEEE’s global community.

Seminar on “How to Write a Journal Manuscript: From Draft to Publication”

An insightful seminar followed at 10:00 AM, featuring Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, SMIEEE, Professor and Chairman, Department of CSE, University of Dhaka, as the keynote speaker.
Dr. Razzaque shared valuable guidance on research writing and the process of publishing scholarly work. The seminar attracted over 90 enthusiastic participants, making it a highly engaging and academically enriching session.

IEEE Olympiad GUB 2025

On October 12, 2025, the IEEE Olympiad GUB 2025 tested students’ IQ, reasoning, and core engineering knowledge through two competitive categories:

Senior Level (Batch 221–232) – 30+ participants (11:00 AM – 11:45 AM)
Junior Level (Batch 241–252) – 40+ participants (12:00 PM – 12:45 PM)
