Chairperson's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Ethical Review Committee (ERC) of Green University of Bangladesh.

The Ethical Review Committee (ERC) is responsible for reviewing research proposals and studies to ensure that they meet established ethical standards, particularly regarding the protection of the rights, dignity, safety, and privacy of research participants.

We are committed to promoting responsible research practices by ensuring that all research activities are conducted with integrity, transparency, and respect for human dignity. Our goal is to protect research participants while supporting researchers in carrying out meaningful and ethically sound studies.

We encourage all faculty members, students, and researchers to follow appropriate ethical guidelines and seek ERC review whenever required. Through our collective commitment, we aim to strengthen a culture of ethical, responsible, and high-quality research at Green University of Bangladesh.

1. Download and complete the ERC Application Form.

2. Submit the completed application form along with all required supporting documents to crit@green.edu.bd.

3. The ERC Secretariat will contact the applicant via email regarding any additional documentation, if required.

4. An application fee is applicable. Please refer to the attached Application Fee PDF for details.

5. Upon submission of a complete application, it will be scheduled for consideration at the next monthly ERC meeting.

6. The applicant will be invited to attend the meeting to discuss the research proposal in detail and address any questions raised by ERC members.

7. Following the discussion, the ERC will make a decision regarding the application in accordance with its review procedures and ethical guidelines.
