Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) is one of Bangladesh's most prestigious film events, playing a vital role in fostering a vibrant and dynamic film culture locally and internationally. DIFF is a bold platform that promotes the development of a strong national film identity while bridging aspiring filmmakers with global artistic trends.

This year, the 23rd DIFF was held from January 11 to 19, 2025, and Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) was proud to serve as an official Festival Partner.

Highlights of DIFF at GUB:

• Film Screenings: A total of 28 feature-length and short films were showcased, representing over 10 countries, including Uzbekistan, France, Portugal, and Bangladesh.
• Student Engagement: Through our outreach program, we welcomed over 200 students from Salimuddin Chowdhury University College and Alhaz Lion Md. Habibur Rahman Harej City College, offering them an enriching cultural experience.
• Inspiring Interactions: Renowned filmmakers joined us to present their works, engage with students, and inspire them to find their voice through the language of film.

Our partnership with DIFF brought immense visibility and promotional exposure to Green University, particularly the Department of Journalism and Media Communication (JMC). From backdrops to leaflets and posters, our logo was prominently featured, underscoring our institution’s growing presence in the film and cultural community.
