Green University observed National Mourning Day

Green University of Bangladesh observed the 37^th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day today with due respect recalling the August 15, 1975 carnage, when Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was killed along with most of his family members.

The Honorable Vice-Chancellor (Acting) of the University Professor Dr. Quazi Deen Mohd Khosru presided over the Discussion Meeting and Milad Mahfil while Dean, Faculty of Law, GUB Prof. Dr. Md. Rabiul Hossain was present in the program as the chief guest.  Professor Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Chairman, Dept. of Textile Engineering, Dr. Muhibul Haque Bhuyan, Chairman, Dept. of EEE, Dr. Nurul Islam Babul, Chairman, Dept. of FTDM, Dr. Jagannath Biswas, Associate Professor, Dept. of Textile Engineering, Mr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Registrar, GUB, Prof. S.M.K. Nazmul Haque, Controller of Examinations of GUB, Mr. Jahirul Islam, Coordinator of Green University English Center and Mr. Lutfor Rahman Joy, Director of Students’ Affairs and a Large number of faculty members, officers, employees and students were present on the occasion.
